ANOTHER CLUSTER MEMBERS MEETING

n February 11th another meeting of cluster members took place. It was dedicated to presentation of the information about entering this year of new legislation, changes in the Clean Sky 2 program, INNOLOT program and the plans of activities of cluster in 2014.

As the standards used in the aerospace industry has been changed after entering European Union by Poland, „The Systemic Changes in Standarization after entering European Union” was presented by Teresa Idzikowska from Institute of Aviation.

This year the regulations which oblige airline companies to apply the safety management system also fall into force. The system (SMS- Safety Management System) was presented by Paweł Głowacki Ph D . Eng from Propulsion Laboratory
of the Institute of Aviation. Because the cluster expands its activity of space technologies, Leszek Loroch, Ph D. Eng, presented „The plan of Developing of Center of Space Technologies at the Institute of Aviation”.

As in 2014 program Clean Sky 1 has been replaced by program Clean Sky 2, Marcin Gawroński from Coordination Department of Institute introduced significant differences between them.

In turn, representative of Aviation Technology Platform, Professor Jacek Rokicki presented „Research Strategy of Aviation Industry and INNOLOT program”.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Zbigniew Wołejsza, Director of New Technologies Centre of the Institute of Aviation, presented awarded by the price „The Saber of Ministry of Defence”, unmanned helicopter ILX-27 .
He also discussed the planning developed versions of this design.
